Base Salary
$180k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of major AI-powered product initiatives from concept through production.
- Define the technical architecture for AI systems at SecurityScorecard.
- Set the standard for how the engineering organization builds with AI.
- Use AI-native development tools as core instruments for engineering.
- Collaborate with product leadership and the CTO to shape the AI product roadmap.
- Drive architecture reviews and establish cross-team engineering standards.
- Identify and eliminate bottlenecks in AI feature development.
- Operate with Staff-level ownership, seeing the whole problem.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience with a track record of leading complex projects.
- Demonstrated ability to operate independently across the full product development lifecycle.
- 3+ years building and shipping AI-powered product features in production.
- Strong product instincts focused on user problems and business outcomes.
- Proficiency in TypeScript and strong backend engineering fundamentals.
- Fluency with AI-native development workflows as a primary engineering practice.
- Cloud infrastructure experience, preferably with AWS.
- Exceptional communication skills to drive alignment across stakeholders.
