Base Salary
$190k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with engineering teams to build efficient robotic software for the LaserWeeder and future products.
- Build and troubleshoot robot system software and develop tooling that supports high-performance robotics algorithms.
- Improve machine learning pipelines and build associated features to deliver AI performance on robots.
- Drive decisions through project planning, task delegation, and leading problem-solving efforts.
- Visit farms as needed to help ensure reliable and safe customer products.
Requirements
- 5+ years of programming experience in C++ and Python while building machine and cloud software.
- Proficiency with modern Linux development environments and tools such as Bash, Git, and Docker.
- Proficiency with web services, including REST and gRPC.
- A BS or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with robotics and computer vision algorithms is beneficial.
- General knowledge of observability tools, including the Prometheus ecosystem, is a plus.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and a desire to work in multidisciplinary teams.
