Base Salary
$209k - $283k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build reliable and scalable system services for Physical AI workloads.
- Develop on-device runtime infrastructure for deployment, lifecycle management, and updates of AI-powered components.
- Create abstractions that decouple applications from AI frameworks, models, and hardware accelerators.
- Build APIs, SDKs, and developer tooling that improve development and on-device deployment workflows.
- Develop observability and diagnostics capabilities for performance, failures, and system behavior.
- Optimize software across CPUs and AI accelerators while ensuring production reliability, maintainability, and testability.
- Collaborate with architects, product managers, and AI engineers on platform capabilities, APIs, service boundaries, integrations, documentation, and reference implementations.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience building systems software, platform services, or distributed systems in production.
- 3+ years of experience building developer platforms, SDKs, or internal tooling.
- Proficiency in C, C++, Rust, Go, or Python.
- Strong understanding of Linux-based systems, process isolation, IPC, service lifecycles, API development and versioning, algorithms, data structures, and performance optimization.
- Ability to work across APIs and lower-level system behavior, with strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Preferred: experience with container technologies, modern packaging and deployment, edge computing, embedded Linux, real-time systems, AI/ML inference systems, heterogeneous computing, robotics, vision systems, Physical AI, open-source systems, developer tooling, secure boot, isolation, or attestation.
