Base Salary
$176k - $196k/yr
Responsibilities
- Automate security requirements and build safe-by-default tooling, guardrails, and security-as-a-service capabilities.
- Design and implement scalable systems and controls to secure cloud infrastructure.
- Partner with engineering and security teams to deploy security enhancements and cloud control changes.
- Investigate and respond to security events while improving engineering security practices.
- Conduct security assessments of third-party integrations and emerging AI tools.
- Perform threat modeling and architectural reviews to identify attack vectors early.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in a security-related role, including at least 2 years focused on cloud security.
- Expertise securing cloud platforms, particularly AWS and Azure, with foundational knowledge of Azure and/or GCP.
- Strong understanding of AWS IAM, EC2, VPC, ECR, ECS, and EKS, as well as Azure services and security practices.
- Experience with a CNAPP or similar cloud security tool such as Wiz, Orca Security, Lacework, or Upwind.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python or Go, for automation.
- Knowledge of least privilege, defense-in-depth, and security monitoring principles.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with GCP, OCI, multi-cloud networks, and cloud-agnostic infrastructure is preferred.
