Responsibilities

  • Develop integrations with existing and new vendor platforms using APIs, webhooks, and flat files.
  • Build and optimize web APIs to exchange data between internal software products and third-party platforms.
  • Administer SQL databases, including performance tuning, maintenance, agent jobs, and monitoring.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable backend processes that improve daily workflows.
  • Contribute to technical design for existing and emerging products.
  • Document, support, and maintain integrations and applications after deployment.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide quality assurance and quality control.
  • Evaluate bugs and apply hot fixes to resolve issues.
  • Apply software development best practices and stay current with industry trends.
  • Mentor and develop younger staff while working with minimal supervision.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology or Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with backend logic using C# or Java.
  • Experience with databases including Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle.
  • Experience with web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, Blazor, Angular, or React.
  • Experience with reporting tools such as PowerBI or Cognos BI.
  • Experience with Azure services, DevOps tooling, logging platforms, and vendor enterprise platforms.
  • Strong communication, customer service, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-starter who can work with minimal supervision.
