Responsibilities
- Collaborate with development teams to build tools and infrastructure that improve developer experience and support software delivery.
- Design, develop, operate, troubleshoot, review, and debug secure, high-quality production software.
- Support owned products throughout their lifecycle, including production support and incident management.
- Understand functional requirements for complex business applications and collaborate across teams to deliver solutions.
- Apply software development lifecycle tools and enterprise-authorized AI coding assistance while validating outputs through peer review, automated testing, and secure coding standards.
- Contribute to engineering communities of practice and promote an inclusive, respectful team culture.
Requirements
- Practical knowledge of the full software development lifecycle, including system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Ability to develop, debug, and maintain software using modern programming and database querying languages.
- Hands-on experience with Java, concurrency, memory management, object-oriented programming, Spring, Spring Boot, server-side frameworks, and API design.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, public cloud services in production, preferably AWS, and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or equivalent tools.
- Experience architecting, supporting, and implementing CI/CD migrations.
- Understanding of cloud-native development, application resiliency, security, data sensitivity, and secure handling of inputs and outputs.
- Preferred experience with TypeScript, React, enterprise Java, Kubernetes debugging, Terraform, AWS services, and responsive web design concepts.
