Responsibilities
- Architect, implement, and maintain backend services for file storage and permissions synchronization.
- Design and build event-driven systems for real-time permission propagation.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and compliance partners on sensitive data projects.
- Contribute to migration efforts ensuring zero-downtime rollouts.
- Mentor other engineers and promote engineering best practices.
- Explore and build AI-powered capabilities for intelligent file processing.
- Evaluate emerging third-party file platform capabilities.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional backend software engineering experience.
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or a similar technical field.
- Experience with server-side languages like Java, Python, or C++.
- Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, Postgres, or SQL Server.
- Ability to complete complex projects involving multiple teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bonus: Experience with building scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS.
