Base Salary
$141k - $212k/yr
Responsibilities
- Analyze business processes, workflows, and pain points with stakeholders to identify and prioritize AI automation opportunities.
- Design and rapidly prototype AI-powered solutions, including proof-of-concepts and minimum viable products.
- Translate business requirements between non-technical users and core engineering teams.
- Define KPIs and measure the effectiveness and ROI of AI initiatives.
- Create documentation for AI-driven processes and provide training and support to business users.
- Stay current with machine learning, natural language processing, generative AI, and related tools and practices.
- Drive adoption and scalability of reference solutions and mentor future AI practitioners.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of hands-on technical experience in software engineering, data science, or machine learning engineering.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, AI agents, supervised and unsupervised machine learning, natural language processing, and data modeling.
- Ability to understand business challenges and translate them into technical requirements and solutions.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Proactive, analytical problem-solving approach with a record of delivering innovative solutions.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: forward deployed, consulting, or client-facing technical experience.
- Preferred: hands-on experience with AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, SageMaker, Vertex AI, or Azure ML.
- Preferred: familiarity with data engineering, ETL/ELT processes, data warehousing, and large datasets.
- Preferred: knowledge of payments, finance, or operations in financial services.
