Responsibilities
- Integrate NVIDIA GPU-accelerated tools and microservices such as ALCHEMI and CUDA-X libraries into industrial HPC, chemistry, materials science, and semiconductor manufacturing workflows.
- Support the business development team during the sales process for NVIDIA GPU compute systems and acceleration software.
- Own technical customer relationships and help customers and partners develop products using NVIDIA technologies.
- Engage developers, scientific researchers, and data scientists to understand their goals and deliver high-value technical solutions.
- Help customers build GPU compute infrastructure and maximize their investment through technical guidance and mentorship.
- Create training, whitepapers, blogs, wiki articles, and other documentation for partners, customers, and Solution Architects.
- Stay current with AI techniques for chemistry and materials science, including atomistic simulation, MLIPs, GNNs, and structural generative AI models.
Requirements
- Excellent verbal, written, and technical presentation skills in Japanese, plus business-level English communication.
- BS or MS in Computational Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of industry or academic experience in the manufacturing ecosystem applying AI to chemical and materials science.
- Strong programming, optimization, and software design fundamentals, especially in Python and C++.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive approach and strong desire to share knowledge with clients, partners, and coworkers.
- Hands-on experience with CUDA and PyTorch is preferred.
- Experience developing or using Machine Learning Interatomic Potential models is preferred.
- Working knowledge of molecular dynamics and density functional theory simulations is preferred.
- Familiarity with Graph Neural Networks for property prediction of molecules, polymers, and formulations is preferred.
