Responsibilities
- Design and develop firmware for NVLink switches and GPU firmware.
- Drive features end-to-end, including integrations, co-simulations, and co-emulation across pre- and post-silicon development.
- Collaborate with architecture, software design teams, chip designers, and global NVIDIA R&D teams.
- Debug systems and develop understanding of networking technology, software stacks, and hardware/firmware/software relationships.
- Contribute ideas and improvements to pre-silicon processes, firmware approaches, tools, and products.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering.
- Proficient knowledge of C.
- Excellent understanding of embedded software and real-time programming.
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Strong analytical, creative, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as a teammate.
- Preferred: knowledge of network protocols and exposure to pre-silicon environments such as simulation, emulation, or virtual platforms.
- Preferred: background in Linux internals, curiosity, initiative, and experience with side projects, open-source contributions, or process improvements.
