Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain privacy-by-design solutions across enterprise platforms and vehicle systems.
- Engineer privacy controls for personal, sensitive, regulated, and vehicle-generated data throughout the data lifecycle.
- Implement pseudonymization, tokenization, encryption, data masking, obfuscation, consent and preference management, authorization, data minimization, DLP integrations, and other privacy-enhancing technologies.
- Integrate privacy controls into applications, platforms, APIs, data pipelines, AI systems, analytics solutions, and vehicle software processes.
- Analyze requirements, identify privacy risks, perform design analysis, and recommend privacy-by-design implementation approaches.
- Support software design reviews, troubleshooting, defect correction, privacy assessments, audits, regulatory reviews, and compliance activities.
- Develop privacy engineering specifications, standards, reference architectures, frameworks, documentation, and implementation guidance.
- Monitor privacy controls, document control effectiveness, support remediation, and communicate privacy engineering best practices.
- Serve as a Privacy Engineering Subject Matter Expert and collaborate with Legal, Privacy, Cybersecurity, Data Governance, Product, and Vehicle Engineering teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, cybersecurity, architecture, or related technical disciplines.
- Experience implementing privacy, security, data protection, or governance controls.
- Strong understanding of Privacy by Design principles and data protection concepts.
- Experience working with Legal, Privacy, Compliance, Cybersecurity, or Data Governance stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and software development skills.
- Preferred experience implementing privacy engineering, security engineering, or governance solutions in enterprise environments.
- Preferred familiarity with GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and similar global privacy regulations and frameworks.
- Preferred experience with cloud platforms, enterprise data platforms, analytics ecosystems, API architectures, AI or machine learning solutions, connected vehicle systems, automotive software, or embedded engineering environments.
- Preferred knowledge of privacy-enhancing technologies, consent management, and data lifecycle management.
