Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain responsive, accessible web interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript or TypeScript, and a component-based framework.
- Translate designs, prototypes, and acceptance criteria into reusable production-ready components.
- Build complex forms, data tables, workflow interactions, notifications, and reporting interfaces.
- Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs, authentication services, analytics, and .NET backend capabilities.
- Write and maintain frontend unit, integration, regression, and end-to-end tests.
- Apply semantic HTML, keyboard support, screen-reader compatibility, Section 508, and WCAG standards.
- Improve frontend performance, browser compatibility, error handling, usability, and maintainability.
- Participate in Agile planning, code reviews, demonstrations, releases, and user acceptance testing support.
- Collaborate with design, accessibility, backend engineering, QA, security, product, and client stakeholders.
- Maintain documentation for components, interaction patterns, build tooling, testing, and frontend standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, design technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 3 years developing and supporting well-tested web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript or TypeScript, including browser debugging.
- At least 2 years integrating REST APIs and JSON, with working knowledge of HTTP and HTTPS/TLS.
- At least 2 years using React, Angular, Vue, or a comparable framework for responsive layouts, reusable components, and complex forms.
- At least 1 year applying accessible development practices, including semantic HTML, keyboard navigation, and focus management, with knowledge of Section 508 or WCAG.
- At least 1 year writing automated frontend unit tests, with exposure to integration and end-to-end testing.
- Experience with package managers, build tools, Git-based workflows, pull requests, and code reviews.
- Authorization to work in the United States and ability to perform all work within the United States.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable Public Trust determination and complete required background screening.
- Preferred experience includes the U.S. Web Design System, legacy .NET/ASP.NET MVC/Razor modernization, data-intensive interfaces, federated identity, single sign-on, multifactor authentication, performance monitoring, automated deployment pipelines, and federal or public health applications.
