Responsibilities
- Design and develop SDKs, libraries, reusable components, templates, and reference implementations that accelerate delivery across the AI portfolio.
- Define standards for code structure, testing, code review, versioning, packaging, documentation, release management, and production readiness.
- Create automated testing, evaluation, regression, monitoring, and observability patterns for traditional and probabilistic AI systems.
- Establish CI/CD patterns, quality gates, and repeatable workflows for moving AI products from experimentation into production.
- Design interfaces and developer experiences that enable technology teams, AI teams, and low-code or no-code builders to consume enterprise AI capabilities.
- Review architecture and code, coach AI practitioners, and help establish agentic development workflows, tooling, and guardrails.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience operating at a Staff, Principal, Lead Engineer, or equivalent level.
- Hands-on experience with system design, API and SDK design, testing, CI/CD, versioning, observability, and production operations.
- Ability to design systems and write production-quality code.
- Understanding of the engineering challenges involved in taking AI and Generative AI solutions from experimentation into production.
- Experience building platforms, frameworks, developer tooling, or reusable services used by multiple teams is an asset.
- Ability to influence engineers, data scientists, technology partners, and leaders through strong partnership and sound judgment.
- Legally eligible to work at the specified location and able to provide a valid work or study permit where applicable.
