Base Salary
$67k - $155k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define test scenarios and maintain test evidence.
- Execute functional, API, integration, regression, data, and performance testing.
- Build and maintain automated tests using JUnit, Selenium, Cucumber, ReadyAPI, and REST Assured.
- Validate data and backend behavior using SQL.
- Track defects, support root-cause analysis, and contribute to release readiness.
- Own assigned workstreams from design through production support.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, testing, and operations teams.
- Mentor less-experienced team members where appropriate.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in software testing and quality assurance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Hands-on experience with software testing, quality assurance, and test automation.
- Working knowledge of Java/J2EE and Unix/Linux shell scripting.
- Experience with SQL for data validation and backend verification.
- Hands-on experience with JUnit, Selenium, Cucumber, ReadyAPI, and REST Assured.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, quality gates, and Jenkins.
- Experience across functional, regression, integration, and API testing.
- Comfort working in Agile environments and collaborating with business and technical stakeholders.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
- Preferred experience includes JavaScript, Spring, web services, Angular, and performance testing.
