Base Salary
$210k - $260k/yr
Responsibilities
- Set technical direction for core platform services and developer productivity tooling.
- Lead high-impact initiatives across cloud infrastructure and reliability practices.
- Define and enforce security and compliance foundations for a HIPAA environment.
- Enhance developer experience by treating product engineers as customers.
- Collaborate with engineering leadership on capacity, hiring, and platform roadmap.
- Mentor platform and product engineers to grow their competencies.
- Guide the adoption of AI tooling within platform engineering.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience building production services and/or infrastructure at scale.
- Hands-on experience writing meaningful code in Python, Go, TypeScript, or similar.
- Expertise in system design across distributed systems, APIs, and cloud platforms.
- Proven authority in platform engineering with experience in high-growth companies.
- Strong product sense for internal tooling and improving developer velocity.
- Leadership experience in AI-assisted engineering practices.
- Proven mentoring skills with a track record of developing platform engineers.
- Excellent communication skills with stakeholders across various levels.
