Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, secure, high-performance software for real-time trading and risk systems.
- Analyze complex systems and improve performance, scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency.
- Develop efficient, modular, testable C# code and participate in code reviews.
- Support the product lifecycle from concept and development through deployment and ongoing operations.
- Collaborate with Product, Quant, and Engineering teams to deliver stable applications aligned with product goals.
- Contribute to planning, technical design, documentation, testability, and operational metrics.
- Participate in mentoring, knowledge sharing, and an on-call rotation.
- Travel occasionally for special events, offsites, and team collaboration sessions.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of demonstrable experience building and deploying scalable, high-performance applications.
- At least 8 years of experience with C# and cloud platforms; Azure experience is a plus.
- Understanding of software design, development, and testing principles, including SOLID, DRY, TDD, and BDD.
- Experience building software using Domain-Driven Design.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and technical explanation skills.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and partner with cross-functional teams.
- Experience working in a startup or entrepreneurial environment.
- Interest in or familiarity with sports betting is desirable.
- Passion for software development, system architecture, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.
