Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, secure, high-performance solutions within the event-driven architecture.
- Analyze and resolve complex system problems to improve performance, scalability, reliability, and efficiency.
- Write efficient, modular, and testable code and participate in code reviews.
- Support the full product lifecycle from concept through development, deployment, and ongoing operations.
- Collaborate with Product, Quant, and Engineering teams to deliver stable applications aligned with product goals.
- Improve software quality through testability, operational metrics, and comprehensive documentation.
- Develop product and industry understanding and contribute to planning and design discussions.
- Participate in mentorship, knowledge sharing, and an on-call rotation.
- Travel occasionally for special events, offsite meetings, and team collaboration sessions.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of demonstrable experience building and deploying scalable, high-performance applications.
- At least 8 years of experience with C# and cloud platforms; Azure experience is a plus.
- Understanding of software design, development, and testing principles, including SOLID, DRY, TDD, and BDD.
- Experience building software using Domain Driven Design (DDD).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and technical translation skills.
- Experience partnering with cross-functional teams and working in a startup environment.
- Familiarity with sports betting or a strong interest in sports is desirable.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, entrepreneurial, and fast-changing environment.

- Full-time, non-seasonal hires may participate in onsite interviews or a multi-day cultural immersion in New York City, with requirements confirmed based on role and location.
- Occasional travel may be required for special events and essential offsite meetings.
