Responsibilities

  • Design highly scalable architectures for complex early-stage product concepts across technology stacks, data platforms, and environments.
  • Lead the architecture, design, implementation, deployment, and release of complex applications, interfaces, and integrations.
  • Drive adoption and innovation of AI in solution architecture and software engineering throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Lead the technical strategy and implementation of data platforms within Foundry R&D.
  • Scale AI systems through observability, evaluation, and cost optimization.
  • Establish responsible AI practices covering compliance, explainability, and data privacy.
  • Coach teams on technical best practices and the use of AI across the product development lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience architecting and building zero-to-one applications using generative AI, LLMs, or agentic patterns.
  • Expertise leading the architecture, design, implementation, and release of complex products and applications.
  • Extensive experience in senior engineering roles in enterprise-scale environments.
  • Experience with modern AI frameworks and SDKs such as LangGraph, OpenAI Agents SDK, or Codex SDK.
  • Expertise with cloud and data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, AWS, and Azure.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML, data analytics, and data product development, including data quality, privacy, and localization.
  • Proficiency with Java, Spring Boot, React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, object-oriented languages, front-end frameworks, and database technologies.
  • Strong business acumen, communication, collaboration, product mindset, and technical mentoring ability.
  • Regular use of AI in daily engineering practice.
