Responsibilities
- Build and improve backend systems through greenfield development and enhancement of existing systems.
- Develop REST APIs and microservices supporting card payments, treasury management, transaction booking, and crypto liquidity.
- Design and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing systems for ARQ’s financial products.
- Apply maintainable business logic and collaborate with the engineering team on product development.
Requirements
- Demonstrable backend development experience and fluency in Java.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or another science discipline.
- A track record of building complex products used by millions of people in hypergrowth startups.
- Strong communication skills, including fluent written and spoken English, along with an ambitious, results-driven approach.
