Responsibilities

  • Design and implement compiler optimization techniques, including algebraic rewrite systems and hierarchical scheduling.
  • Integrate novel abstractions into MLIR-based compilation pipelines for AI workloads.
  • Develop resource-aware models and apply constraint evaluation for optimized scheduling decisions.
  • Prototype and verify equivalence-checking methods using probabilistic and symbolic approaches.
  • Use Intel AMX and AVX-512 architecture features to improve compiler performance for CPU and GPU targets.
  • Document and present technical findings and contribute to open-source projects and publications.

Requirements

  • Be an active student able to maintain student status for at least one year.
  • Have a bachelor's degree or student status in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with 0–1 years of hands-on experience, or a relevant master's degree with no prior professional experience.
  • Have advanced Python development skills within compiler ecosystems; MLIR or LLVM experience is advantageous.
  • Have graduate-level academic focus in compilers, programming languages, or AI optimization.
  • Preferred qualifications include familiarity with LLVM ecosystem tools, autotuning, compiler cost modeling, Triton or similar tensor compiler frameworks, probabilistic algorithms, SMT solvers such as Z3, and projects or publications in compilers, program synthesis, or AI optimization.
  • Experience with agentic AI solutions is preferred.
