Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize CAD tools and automation flows to improve engineering productivity, efficiency, and results.
  • Create and maintain documentation for automation processes and tools.
  • Provide technical support and training to internal teams using CAD automation tools and workflows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional HW, SW, IT, and EDA engineering teams on issues, initiatives, and process improvements.
  • Research industry trends, participate in training, and propose and implement solutions to complex CAD automation problems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with the Linux operating system.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Perl, Tcl, and/or GNU Make.
  • Strong communication, documentation, analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of VLSI design and verification and EDA tools is preferred.
