Software Engineer
GE VernovaResponsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and architect scalable, efficient, secure software systems.
- Collaborate with data scientists to integrate AI/ML models into software solutions.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions with cross-functional teams.
- Write clean, efficient, and documented code and contribute to coding standards and technical design reviews.
- Develop internal tools and processes that improve operational efficiency.
- Support senior and principal engineers in maintaining design quality.
- Contribute to product introduction, cost improvements, schedule adherence, and problem resolution.
- Follow software development and deployment best practices, including Agile and NPI/OTR processes.
- Develop and deliver structured technical training schemes.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of software engineering experience.
- Experience with Python, Java, .NET, C, or C++.
- Experience with JavaScript and React.
- Experience with AWS, web technologies, and version control systems in an industrial context.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, machine learning, engineering, or mathematics.
- Ability to work across organizations in a matrix environment.
- Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal, problem analysis, and resolution skills.
