Responsibilities
- Develop solution architectures and translate business requirements into viable technical solutions for financial-services clients.
- Advise on solution, application, data, integration, and cloud architectures.
- Create target architectures, solution concepts, and transformation roadmaps and support their implementation.
- Assess existing system landscapes for architecture, integration, scalability, security, and maintainability improvements.
- Evaluate cloud platforms, integration architectures, APIs, microservices, data architectures, and technology stacks.
- Coordinate architecture workstreams, subprojects, and technical teams depending on experience.
- Build relationships with customer stakeholders and communicate architecture decisions to business and technical audiences.
- Contribute to Capco’s internal technology and architecture capabilities and share knowledge.
Requirements
- Completed university degree, for example in computer science, business informatics, engineering, or natural sciences, or an equivalent qualification.
- Several years of relevant professional experience and substantial experience designing and implementing solution architectures.
- Broad technology understanding and the ability to convert complex business requirements into technical architectures and implementable solution concepts.
- Experience with modern and classical system landscapes and architecture principles covering cloud, APIs, microservices, integration, and data.
- Experience with at least one relevant cloud platform and understanding of cloud-native architecture, security, governance, and scalability.
- Knowledge of common programming languages, frameworks, and development practices; hands-on development experience is advantageous but not the primary focus.
- Ability to assess solution options by business value, technical feasibility, cost, risk, and strategic target architecture.
- Preferably experience coordinating technical teams and workstreams and managing diverse business and technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, conceptual, communication, and self-directed working abilities.
- Fluent German and English and flexibility for hybrid collaboration and customer-site assignments.
