Responsibilities
- Participate in design decisions for new and existing applications and escalate issues when needed.
- Develop software solutions for PDI products.
- Prepare project status updates and risk assessments for management.
- Perform engineering-level testing, troubleshooting, debugging, and validation of software issues.
- Collaborate with QA Engineers on product test plans and resolve defects found during release stabilization.
- Work with Product Owners to clarify and estimate feature work.
- Document software solutions and compile test results to support problem solving.
Requirements
- Requires 5–7 years of experience designing and developing or maintaining software applications in a software product development environment.
- Requires proficiency in one or more of .NET, C#, SQL, JavaScript, JavaScript web frameworks such as React, or ASP.NET MVC.
- Requires proficiency with Microsoft Visual Studio and Azure DevOps or Jira.
- Requires experience using AI development tools, ideally Claude, including agentic development methods.
- Requires experience with a full web stack or relational databases and familiarity with SDLC and Agile methodologies.
- Requires computer science fundamentals including object-oriented programming, design patterns, and data structures and algorithms.
- Requires strong communication, problem-solving, analytical, collaboration, prioritization, and independent working skills.
