Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance front-end and back-end features for custom data applications and executive dashboards.
- Build and consume APIs and write queries against relational and NoSQL data stores.
- Develop test plans, write and execute test cases, track defects, and maintain automated unit, regression, and UI tests.
- Fix bugs, make UI/UX updates, perform routine application maintenance, and remediate findings from SAST, DAST, and container scans.
- Provide Tier 2 user support for access issues, dashboard navigation, and basic data visualization troubleshooting.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, release activities, and system and user documentation.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience developing web applications with a modern front-end framework and a back-end language.
- Working knowledge of SQL and experience integrating applications with a database.
- Experience with software testing, including writing test cases and tracking defects.
- Experience using Git or another version control system.
- A DoDM 8140.03 qualifying certification, such as CompTIA Security+ CE, is required before starting.
- An active Secret or higher security clearance is required.
- Preferred qualifications include Node.js and Python experience, AWS or DoD environment exposure, CI/CD pipeline experience, container technology familiarity, automated testing tool experience, Power BI or Qlik experience, help desk or user support experience, and Jira or Azure DevOps experience.
