Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, TypeScript, and React.
- Build and enhance services and APIs supporting experimentation, analytics, and data-driven decision-making.
- Develop and optimize data-intensive applications using Databricks, Spark, and related technologies.
- Contribute to architecture and system design for scalable, reliable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
- Translate business and product requirements into technical solutions with Product, Data Engineering, QA, and other stakeholders.
- Write clean, maintainable, efficient, and testable code and participate in code reviews and quality-focused development.
- Identify and resolve performance, scalability, and reliability challenges across applications, services, APIs, and data-processing workloads.
- Participate in the full development lifecycle, including discovery, design, implementation, testing, production support, and continuous improvement.
- Share knowledge, support teammates, and improve engineering practices and developer productivity.
Requirements
- Experience building and supporting full-stack applications in a modern software development environment.
- Hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot for backend services, APIs, and application components.
- Experience with TypeScript and React.
- Experience or familiarity with Databricks, Apache Spark, or PySpark for data processing, analytics, or data-intensive applications is highly desirable.
- Strong foundation in object-oriented programming, API development, software design, and engineering best practices.
- Understanding of scalable and distributed systems, including performance, reliability, maintainability, and efficient data processing.
- Ability to work across application, service, and data layers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related STEM discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
