Responsibilities
- Collaborate with software engineers to build and maintain software applications.
- Receive training across software design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Create scripts to automate parts of the software development process.
- Learn debugging methods to investigate the root causes of software issues.
- Contribute to technical and functional documents and reports as needed.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a UK-based university studying computer engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related discipline.
- Familiarity with C and C++ is encouraged.
- Exposure to object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, operating systems concepts, and multithreaded programming is encouraged.
- Experience with software design and development, Linux environments, and modern software tools and techniques is encouraged.
- Exposure to machine learning algorithms, data analysis, computer vision, or ML libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, JAX, and Caffe is relevant.
- Exposure to kernel development, device drivers, low-level system programming, and debugging or optimizing kernel-level code is relevant.
- Exposure to CUDA or HIP for GPU-accelerated machine learning workloads is relevant.
- Familiarity with AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure is relevant.
