Responsibilities

Contribute to real software features through coding, code review, merging, and deployment to production.
Build server-side and user-facing applications using machine learning capabilities.
Design scalable and reusable interfaces, APIs, and services.
Develop abstractions supporting observability and deployment to the core platform.
Build data ingestion and processing systems for software products and machine learning research and development.
Apply engineering best practices including static type checking, legible code, infrastructure as code, and production-readiness standards.
Participate in continuous learning, technical discussions, and company-wide events.

Demonstrated core expertise in an area such as distributed computing or one of the technologies used at Kensho.
Practical understanding of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.
Personal projects, open-source contributions, or a portfolio of work.
Versatility and adaptability to contribute across teams and product areas.
Effective coding, documentation, and communication habits.
