Responsibilities
- Plan, build, and execute application and platform migrations to Red Hat OpenShift.
- Configure, use, and maintain Kubernetes environments, including OpenShift, EKS, or AKS.
- Develop and code software using Python or Golang.
- Use Docker, containers, and cloud-native utilities and software.
- Ensure migrated workloads meet business continuity, high availability, disaster recovery, operational readiness, RTO/RPO, resiliency, compliance, and performance targets.
- Collaborate with application teams, platform/SRE, network, security, and DR/BCP stakeholders.
- Design, develop, and improve scalable, maintainable, secure, and performance-optimized software solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, knowledge sharing, and cross-functional solution development.
Requirements
- Experience configuring, using, or maintaining Kubernetes, OpenShift, EKS, or AKS.
- Experience developing and coding software using Python or Golang.
- Experience with Docker, containers, and cloud-native utilities and software.
- In-depth technical knowledge and experience in the assigned area of expertise.
- Understanding of secure coding, software quality, risk controls, compliance, resiliency, and disaster recovery concepts.
- Ability to collaborate with product, engineering, platform, network, security, and business stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze information, resolve technical problems, communicate complex information, and influence decisions.
