Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and improve high-quality, scalable, maintainable, and performance-optimized software solutions.
- Configure, use, or maintain Kubernetes environments, including OpenShift, EKS, or AKS.
- Develop and code software using Python or Golang.
- Work with Docker, containers, and cloud-native utilities and software.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define requirements and integrate solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, secure coding, and unit testing.
- Contribute to technical direction, guide team members, and advise stakeholders on functional and cross-functional impacts.
- Manage risks and strengthen controls related to the team’s work.
- Analyze complex alternatives, conduct research, and develop innovative solutions.
Requirements
- Experience configuring, using, or maintaining Kubernetes, OpenShift, EKS, or AKS.
- Experience developing and coding software using Python or Golang.
- Experience with Docker, containers, and cloud-native utilities and software.
- Preferred experience writing Ansible Playbooks or Chef Cookbooks.
- Foundational understanding of cloud technologies within AWS or Azure.
- Familiarity with complex system integrations, REST APIs, observability, telemetry, and microservice-based architectures.
- Hands-on experience with Elastic or similar tools is preferred.
- Experience working in an SRE or DevOps role is preferred.
