Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and improve high-quality, scalable, maintainable, and performance-optimized software solutions.
- Configure, use, and maintain Kubernetes environments, including OpenShift, EKS, or AKS.
- Develop and code software using Python or Golang.
- Work with Docker, containers, cloud-native utilities, and software.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and stakeholders to define requirements and integrate solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, secure coding, knowledge sharing, and technology communities.
- Guide technical direction, contribute to strategy, and support complex assignments and system integrations.
- Manage technology risks and controls and advise stakeholders on functional and cross-functional impacts.
Requirements
- Experience configuring, using, or maintaining Kubernetes, including OpenShift, EKS, or AKS.
- Experience developing and coding software in Python or Golang.
- Experience with Docker, containers, and cloud-native utilities and software.
- Experience writing Ansible Playbooks or Chef Cookbooks is highly valued.
- Foundational understanding of cloud technologies within AWS or Azure is highly valued.
- Familiarity with complex system integrations, REST APIs, observability, telemetry, and microservice-based architectures is highly valued.
- Hands-on experience with Elastic or similar tools is preferred.
- Experience working in an SRE or DevOps role is valued.
- Ability to collaborate across functions, guide technical direction, manage risks, and communicate with stakeholders.
