Responsibilities
- Provide technical and strategic leadership across enterprise-scale platforms, architecture, engineering standards, and technology direction.
- Own the full software development lifecycle from design through production support.
- Build secure, scalable, high-performance distributed systems and full-stack digital experiences.
- Design cloud-native AWS solutions using microservices, event-driven architectures, domain-driven design, and API-first principles.
- Develop backend services and web platforms using .NET Core, C#, React, Next.js, and Angular.
- Drive CI/CD automation, containerisation, DevOps practices, observability, monitoring, performance optimisation, and resilient system design.
- Apply TDD, automated testing, performance testing, and release automation.
- Mentor engineers and collaborate with product, platform, and engineering teams while applying AI and GenAI technologies.
Requirements
- Deep expertise building secure, scalable, high-performance distributed systems with .NET Core and C#.
- Experience designing AWS cloud-native solutions using microservices, event-driven architectures, domain-driven design, and API-first principles.
- Strong full-stack engineering capability across React, Next.js, Angular, backend services, and modern API development.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD automation, GitHub Actions, observability, monitoring, and performance optimisation.
- Experience with automated, unit, integration, API, and performance testing and release automation.
- Experience with AI and GenAI technologies such as Claude CLI, LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, Semantic Kernel, agentic AI, or RAG architectures.
- Ability to provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and influence architecture and technology direction.
