Responsibilities
- Provide architectural leadership and make design decisions for complex distributed systems.
- Design and deliver scalable, resilient enterprise systems for high-volume, customer-facing environments.
- Lead hands-on Java and Spring Boot microservices development, with openness to future .NET-based architectures.
- Mentor engineers, uplift engineering standards, and champion code quality, performance, and reliability.
- Own solutions across design, development, production operation, and continuous improvement.
- Build and operate cloud-native AWS solutions using event-driven systems, containers, and infrastructure as code.
- Drive DevSecOps practices including CI/CD, automated testing, security, observability, and continuous improvement.
- Shape technology strategy and align engineering decisions with business and lending priorities.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in Java and Spring Boot microservices.
- Proven experience designing and delivering scalable, resilient enterprise systems in high-volume, customer-facing environments.
- Strong experience with event-driven systems, microservices, and Domain-Driven Design.
- Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Ansible.
- Experience with AWS services including EC2, Lambda, ECS/Fargate, RDS, DynamoDB, and CloudFormation or CDK.
- Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, security, observability, and continuous improvement.
- Experience with databases, including SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL systems.
- Experience with relevant front-end, observability, and testing technologies such as TypeScript, React, Next.js, CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ELK, JMeter, or BlazeMeter.
- Demonstrated technical leadership, mentoring ability, and a hands-on engineering mindset.
- Openness to evolving toward .NET-based architectures is preferred.
