- Set technical direction and own architecture for hardware-rooted security capabilities across hardware, firmware, systems software, and protected workload execution.
- Design and build attestation, trusted execution environment, hardware-backed isolation, secure boot, measured boot, device identity, and platform integrity capabilities.
- Develop systems software, security tooling, and automation for reliable operation of hardware-backed security at scale.
- Design secure approaches for cryptographic keys, credentials, identities, certificates, provisioning, and trusted-computing lifecycle management.
- Lead threat modeling, security analysis, and mitigation of risks spanning hardware, firmware, operating systems, infrastructure, and workloads.
- Lead cross-functional security-sensitive initiatives and communicate trust models, architecture, tradeoffs, and risks to technical and security leadership.
Requirements
- 6+ years of systems, firmware, hardware, or security engineering experience with deep expertise in low-level systems security.
- Experience with hardware-rooted trust, attestation, trusted execution environments, confidential computing, or related technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to set technical direction and own complex security architecture across multiple hardware and software layers.
- Strong understanding of roots of trust, platform integrity, secure or measured boot, device identity, hardware-backed attestation, and firmware security.
- Experience designing or implementing attestation systems and reasoning about trust across hardware, firmware, host, and workload boundaries.
- Strong understanding of cryptographic systems, key management, certificate lifecycle, secure credential management, and secure provisioning.
- Systems engineering experience developing low-level systems software, security tooling, firmware, or production automation in C, C++, Rust, Go, Python, or similar languages.
- Ability to threat model complex systems and lead ambiguous cross-functional technical initiatives across specialized engineering disciplines.
- Experience developing or securing firmware, platform initialization, device security, hardware-backed security mechanisms, bare-metal lifecycle security, or large-scale compute environments is valuable.
