Responsibilities
- Manage phased Oracle HCM implementations, downstream integrations, and ongoing production support.
- Design and execute Oracle HCM function security, data security, role provisioning, personalization, and location-based access controls.
- Develop, review, debug, and maintain secure production code according to established standards.
- Lead and contribute to application security development and deployment projects.
- Configure Oracle HCM security, resolve role and access defects, perform Segregation of Duties analysis, and support continuous development and integration.
- Partner with stakeholders and business leaders to assess security needs, recommend modifications, and support decision-making.
- Assess security controls, reduce vulnerabilities, and evolve security protocols based on industry insights and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain security documentation and configuration workbooks supporting audit-defensible processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams using software development lifecycle and agile practices.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 3 years of applied experience.
- At least 3 years of experience troubleshooting, resolving, and maintaining information technology services in a large-scale technology environment.
- Hands-on experience configuring Oracle HCM application security, including role building, access defect resolution, and identity and access management.
- Experience managing HCM applications or infrastructure in on-premises and public cloud environments.
- Proficiency in data analysis and engineering using SQL, PL/SQL, or Python.
- Working knowledge of REST APIs, Kafka, JavaScript, HTML, and XML.
- Experience with Oracle HCM and Amazon Web Services, including SaaS security protocols.
- Experience with observability and monitoring tools and techniques for production support.
- Experience managing projects with agile methodologies and tools such as Jira or Microsoft Project.
- Preferred experience creating functional and technical designs and documentation for Oracle HCM data conversions, interfaces, and customized reporting.
- Preferred familiarity with process optimization and risk and control assessment in identity and access management.
- Preferred experience using artificial intelligence and machine learning to support business decisions and engineering outcomes.
- Preferred knowledge of governmental regulations and industry frameworks related to information security and access governance.
- Ability to work across technical teams, architects, and non-technical business partners.
