Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain low-level platform software for Arista’s EOS networking operating system.
- Work closely with hardware and programmable chips, including ASIC and FPGA-based platforms.
- Implement multi-process state-sharing and publish-subscribe system architecture.
- Build software supporting physical platforms, virtual machines, and containers.
- Support automation and deployment workflows using Ansible and Terraform.
Requirements
- Strong engineering and computer science fundamentals.
- Extensive experience with algorithms and strong software architecture skills.
- At least 5 years of fluency in one or more of C, C++, or Python.
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing software in a strong product-engineering environment.
