Pre-Sales Architect/Solution Architect

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Axway sales teams to define, design, and detail the technical feasibility of proposed solutions.
- Deliver solution workshops, product demonstrations, technical education, and proof-of-concept implementations.
- Create technical content for RFIs and RFPs.
- Support technical escalations, design solutions, answer technical questions, progress sales cycles, and develop customer relationships.
- Maintain knowledge of clients’ industries, business processes, and industry trends.
- Lead technical discussions with Product Managers, Engineers, and Executives.
- Understand customer business problems, articulate Axway-based solutions, build value propositions, and establish compelling reasons to act.
Requirements
- Minimum five years of experience as a Software Engineer, Pre-Sales professional, or Technical Consultant, preferably with enterprise integration software companies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology.
- Ability to understand business problems and translate them into compelling technical solutions.
- Strong relationship-building, organizational, written, verbal, communication, consulting, and presentation skills.
- Solid understanding of cloud computing trends and competitive technologies.
- Experience with integration platforms is preferred.
- Java, JavaScript, or scripting skills are highly desirable.
- Experience with Docker, containers, and AWS, Azure, and/or GCP is preferred.
- Hands-on familiarity with message queues, synchronous and asynchronous communications, events, transaction protocols, OAuth, SAML, LDAP, SSO, and enterprise security standards is preferred.
- Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
- Consulting experience guiding customers through B2B software journeys is preferred.
- Fluent English is mandatory; fluent French is a plus, and German or Dutch is a nice-to-have.
- Ability to work effectively across multiple organizations and demonstrate a collaborative, urgent approach.
