Base Salary
$109k - $227k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end and system integration test strategies for one or more insurance value streams.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks integrated with CI/CD pipelines.
- Provide oversight and establish standards for distributed onsite and offshore QA engineers.
- Translate business and regulatory requirements into testable scenarios for insurance systems.
- Conduct root-cause analysis of defect leakage, production incidents, and data or reporting discrepancies.
- Evaluate emerging tools and methodologies, including AI-assisted testing and low-code automation.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects and adjust priorities as release schedules and business requirements evolve.
- Lead and mentor junior QA resources.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in quality assurance or testing.
- Direct experience testing insurance systems; PolicyCenter, Guidewire, claims, or billing platform experience is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in automation and the ability to independently develop and maintain code using tools such as Playwright, Selenium, and API testing tools.
- Experience collaborating with distributed onsite and offshore teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to adapt technical detail for engineering and executive audiences.
- Demonstrated success managing multiple parallel workstreams under time-sensitive conditions.
- US work authorization is required.
