Responsibilities
- Provision Zscaler services on AWS and GCP using Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform.
- Manage development and infrastructure demands, systems architecture, system deployment, support, and security.
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines.
- Control costs and optimize cloud utilization.
- Evangelize DevOps practices and instruct software engineers.
- Support highly available 24x7 cloud services and infrastructure reliability.
Requirements
- Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience leveraging, securing, or positioning AI-driven solutions within the functional domain.
- Experience hosting 24x7 services on public cloud providers, with AWS required, using automation and orchestration tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Experience managing and deploying Kubernetes resources using Helm charts.
- Proficiency with GitLab or similar CI/CD tooling.
- Working knowledge of databases and SQL, with PostgreSQL preferred.
- Experience with cloud architecture components including message queuing, in-memory caches, and load balancing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering.
- U.S. citizenship is required due to the secure nature of the work.
- Preferred: experience implementing AIOps, AI-driven predictive scaling, or automated anomaly detection.
- Preferred: familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, and Alertmanager.
- Preferred: advanced experience running highly available cloud services and optimizing service deployments and cloud costs.
