Responsibilities
- Lead the engineering design and build-out of enterprise directory services and identity platform modernization.
- Design, build, and operate large-scale, multi-domain Active Directory environments across multiple geographies.
- Improve reliability, resiliency, security, and operational excellence across identity infrastructure.
- Develop authentication, directory services, access management, identity lifecycle, and IAM capabilities.
- Troubleshoot complex directory service, authentication, and integration issues as the highest level of technical escalation.
- Develop automation and tooling to simplify operations, improve scalability, and reduce manual effort.
- Evaluate and integrate identity technologies across hybrid Active Directory, cloud identity, and internally developed environments.
- Establish architectural direction and technical standards for enterprise identity platforms.
Requirements
- 12+ years of hands-on experience in Identity and Access Management, Directory Services, or Infrastructure Security engineering.
- Deep expertise administering, engineering, and troubleshooting Microsoft Active Directory and Entra in large enterprise environments.
- Experience designing, migrating, or modernizing complex multi-domain Active Directory environments.
- Strong understanding of LDAP, Kerberos, Group Policy, DNS, authentication protocols, and directory service architecture.
- Experience supporting highly available, mission-critical identity infrastructure at scale.
- Strong experience building continuous controls around Active Directory, Entra, and IAM platforms.
- Strong scripting or software development skills in Python, Java, or similar languages.
- Experience automating operational processes and building engineering solutions rather than relying solely on commercial products.
- Preferred experience with enterprise-scale Active Directory transformation, Entra ID, Okta, cloud and hybrid IAM integrations, identity governance, privileged access management, and global multi-region identity services.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
