Base Salary
$152k - $169k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop security-event normalization, enrichment, triage, and response workflows.
- Design, develop, and operate SOAR workflows for security operations automation.
- Build and maintain integrations with SIEM, EDR, CTI, ticketing, SaaS, and API-based platforms.
- Develop LLM-based triage and analysis logic, confidence scoring, and automated response orchestration for the AI-SOC framework.
- Operate logging and monitoring infrastructure, manage incidents affecting automation systems, and improve reliability.
- Implement automated response scenarios in collaboration with SOC and Incident Response teams.
- Analyze and optimize automation workflows for performance, scalability, efficiency, and effectiveness.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong Python proficiency, including modular design, code quality, exception handling, and testing.
- Experience engineering security-event processing, detection, and response workflows.
- Hands-on experience customizing, integrating, and operating SIEM, EDR, SOAR, and CTI platforms.
- Experience developing integrations using RESTful APIs, Webhooks, and JSON-based data processing.
- Experience designing, building, and operating cloud systems, preferably on AWS.
- Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex system incidents.
- Experience with Git-based development workflows and CI/CD pipeline practices.
- Preferred: experience with AI-SOC platforms or LLM-powered security automation solutions.
- Preferred: experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar LLM-agent and workflow frameworks.
- Preferred: experience operating large-scale SOAR platforms and production automation workflows.
- Preferred: production experience with Kubernetes and EKS.
- Preferred: experience extending security automation platforms, operating log-processing pipelines and message queues, and building security operations dashboards and analytics solutions.
