Base Salary
$174k - $252k/yr
Responsibilities
- Write and test product or system development code.
- Participate in or lead design reviews and select technologies with peers and stakeholders.
- Review code and provide feedback on style, accuracy, testability, efficiency, and best practices.
- Maintain documentation and educational content based on product updates and user feedback.
- Triage, debug, track, and resolve product or system issues by analyzing effects on hardware, networks, services, and quality.
- Partner with engineering analysts to scale threat intelligence insights and build supporting tooling and infrastructure.
- Investigate and disrupt scaled abuse and identify adversary infrastructure, campaigns, and techniques.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages.
- At least 5 years of experience building software for security or anti-abuse, such as threat detection, threat intelligence, or fraud prevention systems.
- At least 3 years of experience building software for data privacy or security, such as identity and access management.
- At least 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
- At least 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
- Preferred: Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
- Preferred: experience building threat intelligence or detection systems that correlate signals at scale and experience partnering with Trust and Safety, security, or incident response teams.
