Responsibilities
- Execute and oversee the end-to-end monthly invoice-generation cycle.
- Manage invoice distribution, instructed deductions, and dunning processes.
- Build flexible invoicing solutions that comply with regulatory and taxation requirements across markets.
- Maintain and evolve the existing large-scale invoice-generation engine.
- Design and build the next-generation invoicing platform.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Data Science, Frontend, and Product teams.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of software development experience in a fast-paced technology environment.
- Experience with Java, web services, REST APIs, webhooks, SQL, and PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with complex large-scale distributed systems.
- Good understanding of software engineering practices and interest in product knowledge.
- Full professional proficiency in English.
- Ability to work from Adyen’s Amsterdam office in an office-first, non-remote-only role.
