Responsibilities
- Develop, design, code, and enhance custom software components across systems and applications.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and collaborate with and manage the team to perform.
- Make team decisions and contribute to key decisions across multiple teams.
- Provide solutions for the immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Identify and implement process improvements that enhance team productivity and software quality.
- Mentor junior team members and support their professional growth.
- Apply software engineering principles and development lifecycle practices within research and development environments.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in Life Sciences R&D.
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Strong experience with the software development lifecycle in research and development environments.
- Ability to build scalable and maintainable software using modern engineering principles.
- Familiarity with agile development practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines.
- Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and align software solutions with scientific and business goals.
