Base Salary

$158k - $214k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Build and scale ML infrastructure for data processing, distributed training, and model serving.
  • Optimize GPU utilization, training throughput, serving latency, and infrastructure costs.
  • Own training-data pipelines, including ingestion, schema evolution, backfills, and data quality checks.
  • Partner with Applied Scientists to shorten the path from experimentation to production.
  • Improve model serving and feature delivery for continuous experimentation.
  • Automate large-scale data analysis, model training, validation, and deployment processes.
  • Operate high-volume, low-latency production systems through monitoring, alarming, troubleshooting, and on-call support.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • At least 1 year designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed applications, tools, systems, or services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Experience with machine learning and LLM fundamentals, including model architecture, training and inference lifecycles, and execution optimization.
  • Experience developing and deploying LLMs in production on GPUs, Neuron, TPU, or other AI acceleration hardware.
  • Preferred experience with the full software development lifecycle, coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Preferred experience debugging, profiling, and applying software engineering best practices in large-scale systems.
