Responsibilities
- Analyze client IT architectures, scope technical projects, recommend system improvements, and participate in security evaluations and architecture review boards.
- Manage technical projects remotely and at client sites while communicating progress with client leadership and internal account, product, engineering, sales, and agency stakeholders.
- Identify integration opportunities between cloud or on-premises agency systems and Axon products, then recommend deployment plans.
- Capture requirements, implement and review third-party solutions in development environments, assess integration feasibility, and document technical capabilities.
- Build, test, deploy, and document integrations with the Director of Integrations and developers, including support requirements.
- Write code using API capabilities to optimize repetitive implementation tasks and work with DevOps to merge that code.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree is highly preferred, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 4 years of experience analyzing and developing technical systems and software solutions.
- Expert networking knowledge, including LAN/WAN, security, IP Video, and Video Management Systems, plus experience managing technical projects, implementations, and integrations.
- Expert-level understanding of Linux frameworks and containerization platforms, with Docker preferred.
- Advanced understanding of cloud technologies, software development packages, data management tools, IT business processes, and enterprise software systems.
- Advanced hands-on experience with APIs and systems integration using REST and SOAP.
- Advanced skills in SQL, Python, Java, and AWS and/or Azure cloud technologies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and tasks.
- Project management experience or PMI certifications are a plus but are not required.
- Willingness to support company-wide initiatives, commitment to Axon’s mission and values, ability to handle confidential information, and successful completion and maintenance of a CJIS clearance.
