Base Salary

$67k - $155k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Define test strategies, plans, implementations, and quality assurance activities for large, complex projects.
  • Drive application testing transformation and managed test delivery for financial services clients.
  • Coordinate and facilitate User Acceptance Testing with business organizations.
  • Provide testing subject matter expertise and resolve complex client and engagement-team issues.
  • Develop test automation frameworks and conduct testing for Guidewire applications, rating engines, integrations, SOAP services, and REST services.
  • Coach team members and contribute to an inclusive, innovative, team-oriented environment.
  • Develop engagement tools and enablers to build testing practice capabilities.
  • Support business development, go-to-market capabilities, client relationships, and sales initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • At least 2 years of Guidewire experience.
  • Experience in the insurance sector, including strong property and casualty knowledge across personal and commercial products, risks, and coverages.
  • Strong experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter, rating engines, and integrations with external vendors.
  • Knowledge of rating concepts including premium calculations, discounts, surcharges, and coverages.
  • Strong quality engineering and test automation experience, including Selenium or Rest Assured.
  • Knowledge of SOAP and REST service testing concepts.
  • Experience with test strategy and operating model development, test automation framework architecture, Agile test management, UAT coordination, and related IT transformation or delivery programs.
  • Strong collaboration, teaming, client relationship, consulting, and communication skills.
  • Approximately 5 years of financial services experience and prior consulting experience are preferred.
  • Guidewire certifications and certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CBCP, ITIL, or PMP are preferred.
