Responsibilities
- Lead Finacle customization, integration, implementation, and ongoing support across multiple business units.
- Design technical specifications, architecture diagrams, implementation plans, CMS changes, interfaces, and API integrations.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into Finacle customization and integration solutions.
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, QA, operations, vendors, and business stakeholders across locations.
- Ensure code quality, maintainability, secure development, data governance, compliance, and audit readiness.
- Participate in code reviews, design reviews, architecture discussions, troubleshooting, and production issue resolution.
- Manage vendor interactions, project timelines, risk mitigation, documentation, and change-control procedures.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing, backlog planning, and roadmap decisions.
Requirements
- 7–12 years of experience working with Finacle in architecture, customization, or integration roles.
- Hands-on experience with Finacle Core Banking, Finacle scripting, card-processing domains, Finacle customization, Finacle Integrator, APIs, and related interfaces.
- Experience with REST APIs, core banking integration architecture, SQL, banking data modeling, validation, and ETL considerations.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience delivering Finacle projects in banking contexts and collaborating with cross-functional teams across multiple locations.
- Knowledge of cloud concepts, secure deployment, data privacy, access controls, secure coding, and banking regulatory requirements.
- Preferred qualifications include Finacle or equivalent vendor certification, Java or other integration languages, NoSQL, data warehousing, cloud deployments, CI/CD tooling, test automation, and advanced testing approaches.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, analytical, problem-solving, mentoring, strategic-thinking, and prioritization skills.
