Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Architect, maintain, and optimize automated test frameworks for cloud-native applications running in Kubernetes.
- Design and implement integration, regression, API, contract, performance, and security testing across CI/CD pipelines.
- Integrate security, resiliency, and quality controls into software delivery pipelines.
- Collaborate with software engineering, DevOps, SRE, security, product, QA, and operations teams.
- Use observability and distributed tracing tools to validate behavior and diagnose distributed-system issues.
- Identify systemic quality gaps, lead root-cause analysis, and drive improvements in reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Maintain test coverage for both sustainment work and new feature development.
Requirements
- Extensive experience architecting test strategies and automated frameworks for cloud-native, microservice-based applications.
- Strong proficiency with Kubernetes, container orchestration, distributed-systems testing, and CI/CD environments.
- Expertise validating security requirements, enforcing pipeline security gates, and applying DevSecOps practices.
- Demonstrated experience with automated testing, continuous integration, API validation, and contract-testing patterns.
- Proficiency with observability and distributed tracing tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Jaeger, and OpenSearch.
- Typically requires a STEM degree and eight years of relevant experience, or an advanced related degree and six years of experience.
- Active and transferable TS/SCI clearance is required before start, and U.S. citizenship is required.
- Preferred qualifications include Docker, service mesh, multi-cluster and hybrid-cloud testing, Kubernetes-native policy tools, performance and load-testing tools, quality coaching, relevant certifications, and experience across multiple Agile teams.
