Responsibilities
- Develop AEM components, templates, services, integrations, EDS blocks, and author experiences using AEM 6.5, AEM as a Cloud Service, Java, OSGi, Sling Models, and JavaScript.
- Build headless solutions with Content Fragments, GraphQL, REST APIs, and React-based frontends.
- Develop serverless extensions and integrations using Adobe App Builder, Adobe I/O, and AEM Mesh/App Mesh.
- Configure and manage AEM Sites, Assets, Dynamic Media, renditions, presets, and delivery capabilities.
- Support migrations by refactoring legacy code for Cloud Service compatibility and validating modernization output.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Manager and Git-based workflows.
- Write unit and integration tests, troubleshoot defects and performance issues, and collaborate with QA, architects, and delivery leads.
- Participate in design discussions and peer reviews, document technical designs and runbooks, and mentor junior developers.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of professional experience.
- Hands-on development experience with AEM 6.5 and AEM as a Cloud Service, including Sites, Assets, Dynamic Media, and Content Fragments.
- Experience with EDS block development, performance tuning, and Universal Editor.
- Strong knowledge of Java, OSGi, Sling Models, Sling, JCR, Maven, GraphQL, and REST API design and consumption.
- Strong JavaScript ES6+, React, HTML5, and CSS3/SCSS skills.
- Working knowledge of Adobe App Builder, Adobe I/O, AEM Mesh/App Mesh, Dispatcher, caching, and CDN concepts.
- Experience with CI/CD, Cloud Manager, Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Experience with JUnit, Mockito, AEM Mocks, Jest, Cypress, or similar testing tools.
- Clear communication, collaboration, ownership, problem-solving, and willingness to coach others.
- Adobe certifications, cloud migration or legacy-to-EDS modernization experience, Adobe Experience Cloud integration experience, accessibility and SEO familiarity, and security best-practices knowledge are preferred.
