Base Salary
$120k - $160k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and deploy software for medical devices in a production environment.
- Develop algorithms to analyze and interpret data from different devices.
- Coordinate software requirements and hardware development with other teams.
- Apply high coding standards in a regulated medical-device environment.
- Participate in rigorous testing and code reviews.
- Create design documents and follow regulatory procedures and guidelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or Computer Science and six years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with the IEC 62304 software development cycle for medical devices.
- Strong C++ programming skills using C++17 or newer and experience with CMake.
- Highly experienced with Linux.
- Experience with Docker or Podman containers.
- Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
- Experience with Git version-control systems such as GitHub, Bitbucket, or GitLab.
- Experience with UI development using Qt.
- Experience writing software documentation.
- Basic knowledge of Bash and Python.
- Experience with Agile tools such as Jira.
- A master’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field with five years of relevant experience is preferred.
