Responsibilities
- Analyze and report test activities and results.
- Update defects in a bug-tracking tool and collaborate with software developers to resolve them.
- Generate test cases and maintain automated test scripts and API tests.
- Perform manual testing where needed.
- Participate in feature design and planning.
- Define and improve testing practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Inspect and debug production issues with software engineers.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in a QA-related role.
- Strong scripting and automation skills in Java or Python.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer software or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Understanding of software development processes, test automation frameworks, design patterns, and object-oriented programming.
- Experience with manual testing, automated testing, and REST API testing using Postman or similar tools.
- Working knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, and a test-management tool such as Testiny.
- Experience working within an Agile development lifecycle.
- Strong analytical, research, communication, detail-orientation, and English-language skills.
- Preferred experience with Playwright, SQL/NoSQL databases, defect-tracking tools, AI testing tools, cross-platform functional testing, Jenkins, Bitbucket, performance testing, accessibility testing, and ELK log tools.
